Crazy Paving

Crazy Paving

Welcome back to the blog guys and it’s good to be back here! Today in the home & Garden I am going in more of the garden direction. I remember when I was younger my farther would work away a lot and he would give me projects to get finished for when he got home. One of my favourites has to be the crazy paving I put down in the back garden. First off you have to get the area measured out that you want to raise and pave, fill with rubble and cement, level and let set. Then comes the fun part braking up all the cement tiles to make them all jagged and differently shaped. After that it is like a jigsaw puzzle placing piece by piece down creating a beautiful masterpiece. This was the first big job I got from my farther so I wanted to make it perfect.

I also added on a 1m by 2m BBQ platform for the nicer times of year when we can all go out as a family have a few drinks and get the BBQ going. To say how young I was and the lack of experience at the time it actually turned out pretty good, level on all sides, beautiful clean finish, no holes or gaps, to be honest I was even surprised with the result. What my farther did for me back then made me the man I am today spending a lot of time in the garden making it my personal paradise. Then everything I can do around the house without having to call someone out is a bonus in many ways, especially your pockets. Give it ago with your little ones, just give them something constructive to do from a young age and build it up as they grow and before you know it they have a little knowledge about everything.
